What if I serve with HM Forces in the UK?
If you are currently serving in the UK, then you can still qualify for the military discount. However, you will have to pay VAT.

How do I order a vehicle?
Ordering a vehicle from County Garage could not be easier. Contact one of our sales advisors on 0044 1227 376110. We can assist you in choosing the model most suitable to you, provide you with availability and talk you through any necessary paperwork.

Will you supply left hand drive lights?
For an additional fee, we can supply and fit left hand drive lights for all Fords. If you are purchasing the same vehicle again, we will be able to swap the left hand drive lights from your current vehicle to your new one, subject to confirmation. We also have a small stock of used left hand drive headlights that can be purchased at a reduced price.

Will you supply winter tyres?
For an additional fee, we can supply steel wheels and winter tyres appropriate for your vehicle. Although there is no specific time period when winter tyres should be adopted on a vehicle, on 26th November 2010 Germany law was amended that in adverse conditions of black ice, snow, slush or icy/frosty roads winter tyres should be fitted with the potential for penalities and/or insurance claim difficulties if this is not complied with. As a UK specification vehicle, all our models have tyres approriate for UK legislation which are neither classified as all season, winter or summer tyres.

Where would I collect my new Ford from?
When you purchase a Ford from County Garage, you are dealing directly with a franchised Ford dealership. Our premises are in Herne Bay, on the north east coast of Kent and the closet of our competitors to Dover Docks/Channel Tunnel. Upon collecting your vehicle, you will be dealing with a dedicated sales advisor who will greet you immediately on arrival to minimise any delay to your onward travel.

Would it be possible to have my vehicle delivered to me abroad?
We are able to deliver your new Ford to you via transporter, although there would be an additional charge. However, if you have a part exchange, you will need to bring this to us, upon it being re-registered to the UK if not done so.

I have a vehicle currently, can I part exchange it with you?
Whether you currently drive a Ford or any other vehicle, we have an extensive network of buyers throughout the UK meaning we can offer you a competitive price for your part exchange. Please visit our what's my car worth section to get a valuation for your part exchange.

What do I need to do if my part exchange is registered outside of the UK?
Prior to bringing the vehicle to us for part exchanging, you will need to de-register your vehicle in the county you are currently stationed and then re-register it back to the UK at a DVLA office. Please note that the road fund license you obtain for your vehicle needs to be left with the vehicle.

My current vehicle has finance on it?
If you have finance against your current vehicle, please contact one of our sales advisors. We can then assist you in getting a settlement figure and your options from there.

What paperwork do I need to complete with County Garage?

When you place an order with us, we will send out all of the paperwork we require back from you. Our sales advisors will also go through this with you at the point of order.
